What happened today? Brief summary of discussion and activities.
As a whole group we overviewed the wiki and how we might utilize it for our work. We determined what participants will be doing in independent work time.
Each person then had independent work time. Some members worked together on a common project.
We concluded our time by sharing what we experimented with determined what would be shared on the wiki and learned how to do that.
Each person then responded to discussion questions on wiki either on the spot or later at home.
Classroom application: What are students learning and doing as a result of what the TSG is learning and doing?
Most participants reported how they will use their independent projects with students and staff on the Individual Work page of the wiki.
Did you examine student work today? No

Other: Teachers talked about student projects they worked on last school year and how they plan to change them for next year. Talked about what they learned about students as a result of the projects and how they need to address additional information in the future. (example: how to determine if a web site is credible)
General comments … There is such an overwhelming amout of technology and innovations that it was a challenge to limit ourselves to one topic each.

What happened today? Brief summary of discussion and activities.
Looked over people's responses to the discussion questions from yesterday.
Shared how what we are working on will influence our work with students and staff next year.
Responded to new discussion questions and TSG exit form on wiki
Determined steps for continued summer work. (some will continue to work beyond these 8 hours)
We will share the outcomes of this TSG at the Inst. Tech. Fall CC meeting.

Did you examine student work today? YESSusan showed digital Storytelling projects students created during summer school.Kim showed examples of student projects created last year.Mike shared student keyboarding data and impact on curriculum.
Mike shared Middle School technology class revised course outcomes based on NETS.

This was the last scheduled gathering. Participants will document further independent and small group work using wiki. The group will report the work of the TSG at the first Instructional Technology Curriculum Council of the 2010-11 school year.
